Holy Spirit" Necklace

I
originally came up with this design some years ago as I was reading the
Bible and came across Ephesians 1:13, which says, “…Having
believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit…”
Immediately my knowledge of the Ancient Near East reminded me exactly
what this text was saying. In ancient times, people who were in
authority would wear signet rings which usually had the person’s name
and/or symbol or picture on it. Whenever they would send an official
letter or authorize an official document, they would put their seal of
authenticity or approval on it by stamping their ring into clay or wax.
That seal legitimized the document.
Ephesians 1:13 immediately came to life for me. Because of my faith and
obedience to Christ, when I received the Holy Spirit as a down payment
and as a pledge for the life to come, I was marked in Christ with a
seal—his seal, and that “mark” is the presence of the Holy Spirit in my
life.
So in a sense, when I came to Christ, God used His “signet ring” and
“stamped” me with His “seal of approval,” and gave me the Holy Spirit.
It was then I had the idea to create a pendant that would visually
represent this truth.
The actual
design for the seal impression is inspired by the Baruch seal impression
that was discovered by archaeologists in Israel some years ago. Click

The writing
on the front of the pendant is in Hebrew and it says, “Ruach Qadosh” or
in English “Holy Spirit.” The back of the pendant has an inscription of
Ephesians 1:13.
It is my prayer and hope you find this Holy Spirit Seal pendant as
inspirational for you as it has been for me over the years. It is hand
made and there are only a few in existence. It makes a great
conversation piece!
